PENGGUNAAN KATA HUBUNG TOO DAN ENOUGH

Pada artikel ini saya menulis mengenai aturan grammar mengenai kata hubung TOO dan ENOUGH.  Disini saya menuliskan mengenai pengertian, Rumus dan contoh kalimat dari kata hubung TOO dan ENOUGH. Kata hubung Too artinya terlalu atau sesuatu yang berlebihan, sedangkan kata hubung enough artinya cukup.

Rumus TOO

Kata hubung TOO jika digunakan pada verb (kata kerja) maka menggunakan kata to sedangkan pada Noun (Kata benda) maka menggunakan for pada kalimat.

S + be + Too + Adjective + to + Verb

Contoh :

The coffee is hot. I can not drink it

-      The coffee is Too hot to drink

That box is very heavy, but Bob can lift it

-      That box is Too heavy for Bob to lift

S + be + Too + Adjective + for + Noun

Contoh :

The spanner is very big. The Nut is not

-      The spanner is Too big for the nut

The funnel is big, but the bottle is not

-      The funnel is Too big for the bottle

Rumus ENOUGH

Kata hubung ENOUGH jika digunakan pada verb (kata kerja) maka menggunakan kata to sedangkan pada Noun (Kata benda) maka menggunakan for pada kalimat.

S + be + Adjective + Enough + to + Verb

Contoh :

The Robot is strong. It lift heavy thing

-      The Robot is strong enough to lift

Our Instructor is well. Therefore he can come to class

-      Our Instructor is well enough to come

S + be + Adjective + Enough + for + Noun

The spanner is very big. The Nut is also big

-      The spanner is big enough for the nut

-      You are too thin

-      She sleeps too long

-      He dies too fast

-      The T-shirt is too big

Too much/many + noun

-      You spend too much time

-      There  are too many people in your house

-      Don’t tell too much secret to your friend

-      We have too much water

-      You put too little sugar
